Star Wars Valentine Printable {Free Printable Yoda Valentine}
Star Wars is all the rage right now so I figured you might enjoy this Yoda Star Wars valentine printable. Glow sticks are a cheap but fun thing to give out and the kids (and adults) love them so this glow stick valentine printable is perfect. As an added bonus you won’t be contributing to the sugar coma that is bound to happen once all the kids start ripping into their valentines so the parents will love the star wars printable valentine too.
I used glow stick braclets which worked but ended up being a little long. I think these mini glow sticks from amazon would probably work a little bit better and they are super cheap! It would cost a little more to get the 8-packs from the dollar store.
There are two ways to assemble these.
You can use a hole punch and tape the glow stick in the back to keep it in place. The result of this method is pictured at the beginning of this post.
Or you can use an exact-o knife to cut a slit and then slide the glow stick through the free yoda valentine printable. This is a little easier but you have to beware of two things.
- If you don’t cut the slit long enough the paper will tear as you insert the glow stick. Don’t ask me how I know. My slit is between 1/2 and 3/4 inch long and seemed to work perfect.
- If you aren’t careful when you insert the glow stick it will crack and activate the “glow” before the valentine ever makes it into anyone’s hands.
