If you have a birthday coming up in your family and want some quick easy decor then this free printable happy birthday banner is perfect! I designed this pennant birthday banner to have a dip dye look to it and I love how it turned out. I hang all of my banners with twine and mini clothes pins. You can find cheap mini clothespins on amazon here. I had a hard time finding them in stores. The nice thing about hanging the banners with clothespins is that they are easy to take apart and put away to use again later. I have one banner I punched holes in and strung with twine and it’s a pain to put away because the string gets all tangled.

I often get asked what paper I recommend. I really like this card stock paper on amazon. It is much cheaper than I have found in stores and has a good thickness for these projects without being so thick that it jams the printer.

This year I added a three extra triangles at the start/end and in between the words to match our baby duck theme and used the colour dropper to match the colours. It looks so great! I have 3 more birthdays for my kids in the next month so I will probably keep it up and just do the same thing with whichever theme they choose.
