He Is Risen Banner {Free Printable Easter Banner}
I am really excited about this He is risen banner. My friend Alisha suggested this and I just love it. I love bunnies, eggs, and candy, but they just don’t really help me to remember the Savior all that much. I’m always looking for ways to focus more on Jesus during Christmas and Easter. These two holidays seem to get slammed with distractions from the real meaning behind the holiday. I feel like I have to fight tooth and nail to get my kids to understand the real meanings behind anything.
A banner might just be one small thing but I remember almost every holiday decoration my mom would cycle through each year. She had a small collection of things for each holiday and would bring them all out faithfully as the year progressed. I’m hoping that one day my kids will say, and I remember that banner you used to bring out that said “He Is Risen” and hopefully the sentiment behind the message will have stuck. Sometimes it’s the little things that stick.
I’ve been asked many times recently what paper works best. I really like this card stock paper on amazon. It is inexpensive and it is thin enough to work well in home printers but thick enough to produce a quality printables. It works well with most of our printables on Paper Trail Design.
