Teal Pumpkin Project Printable Sign
We designed this teal pumpkin project printable sign to make it easier to participate. Have you heard of the teal pumpkin project yet? The teal pumpkin project is a movement designed to make Halloween more fun for kids with allergies. The idea is that you have some non-candy or non-food treats available to hand out for Halloween so that kids with food allergies can have something fun to trick or treat for. Then display a teal pumpkin so they know you have some non-food treats available and can ask for them. We’ve made this step easier by creating a teal pumpkin project printable sign.
I have a few friends with kids with food allergies and Halloween is no fun. A toothbrush is possibly the most exciting thing that they will get. There are tons of fun, inexpensive treats to give out with just a little bit of foresight. My favorite are these mini figures that I found for cheap on Amazon but we have an entire post here dedicated to easy non-candy trick or treat ideas that are also inexpensive.
Paper
I often get asked what paper I recommend. I really like this card stock paper on amazon. It is much cheaper than I have found in stores and has a good thickness for these projects without being so thick that it jams the printer.
